Maryland Foreclosure Lawyer Revives Case Saves Client Thousands

Maryland Foreclosure Lawyer Revives Case Saves Client Thousands

After starting a Maryland foreclosure case, Big Bank (and its foreclosing law firm) lost interest in adding a suburban condominium to its REO and allowed the foreclosure case to be dismissed. Investor Client bought the mortgage and contacted Maryland lawyer Ronald Drescher to initiate a new foreclosure case. Drescher saw that the case could still be revived, but fast action was required. Drescher filed an immediate motion to revive the case and intervene for the Investor as note purchaser. The court ultimately granted this motion and the Investor saved several months and thousands of dollars by not having to conduct additional pre-foreclosure case noticing, pay additional filing fees and redraft the foreclosure case documents.
